LOCALIZATION OF XANTHINE DEHYDROGENASE IN CHICKEN LIVER

摘要: The immunohistochemical localization of xanthine dehydrogenase in chicken liver was examined by indirect immunostaining, using anti-chicken antisera and peroxidase-labeled anti-rabbit gamma-globulin. enzyme activity isolated hepatocytes assayed the biochemical method. Immunostaining hepatic tissue sections showed that cytoplasm hepatocytes, Kupffer cells endothelial lining sinusoid intensely stained. In chickens fed with a standard food containing 20% protein, specific 100, 000xg supernatant fraction homogenate almost same as whole liver. When were on protein-rich diet, homogenized 2.3 times higher than normal Both data this study are comparable to each other, suggest mainly exists hepatocytes.
