Social Acceptability of Five Screening Instruments for Social, Emotional, and Behavioral Challenges

摘要: Social, emotional, and behavioral (SEB) screening occurs in only two percent of our schools. This is unfortunate because universal linked to prevention early intervention with emotional disorders (EBD) children youth, a population who continues experience plethora poor outcomes. The social acceptability (often characterized incompletely as validity) SEB tools suggested contribute their adoption use; thus we need better understanding the screening. In this review, five relevant instruments, or ''screeners,'' for school age were evaluated using rubric six characteristics 21 indicators determined via comprehensive search literature. Results indicate range that could affect use. discussion proposes applications information.
