摘要: Abstract Ozone, water and energy fluxes have been measured over a Mediterranean evergreen forest in Central Italy from August to October 2003 with the eddy-correlation technique order evaluate amount of ozone taken up by plants dry summer mild autumn conditions. The stomatal calculated using analogy vapor inside stomata, which are easily measurable. total dose was obtained integrating time. Stomatal flux resulted minor part (31.5%) ecosystem. main deposition follows non-stomatal pathways. Chemical sink seems play relevant role morning deposition. uptake is enhanced availability but, on average, it does not exceed 34.4% flux. A comparison between cumulated currently used AOT40 exposure index highlighted important distortions introduced this index. AOT40, do take into account plant physiology, lead substantial overestimation risk, particularly when supply limited, as occurs frequently Southern European areas.
