摘要: A gear tooth form is disclosed that maximizes the profile (transverse) contact ratio for coplanar axis gearing. As allows teeth two or three times as fine those of conventional involute gearing to be used without loss torque capacity, face (axial) helical spiral bevel also maximized. The total (profile plus ratios) therefore maximized, and load divided over maximum number teeth. This minimizes transmission error, which in turn operating noise vibration. employs a minimum pressure angle path includes curved portion.
