摘要: Aims Characteristics of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) during sports offers a novel (and unexplored) setting to assess factors associated with disparities in outcomes across regions. Methods and results From prospective 5-year community-based French registry concerning SCA 10–75 year-olds, we evaluated whether differed significantly between geographic regions. We then determined the extent which variations community-related early interventions were regional survival. Among 820 cases studied, overall survival at hospital discharge was 15.7% (95% confidence interval, 13.2–18.2%), considerable (from 3.4 42.6%, P < 0.001). Major differences noted regarding bystander initiation cardiopulmonary resuscitation (15.3–80.9%, 0.001) presence initial shockable rhythm (28.6–79.1%, 0.001), higher values these being better rates. The proportion survivors favourable neurological outcome fairly uniform among groups (CPC–1/2, varying from 77.4 90.0%, = 0.83). No difference observed subjects' characteristics circumstances occurrence, including delays (collapse-to-call period). With comparable in-hospital mortality ( 0.44), highly correlated that admission (regional 7.4 75.0%, 0.001). Conclusion exist rates (up 10-fold) after sports. regions highest levels had best discharge.
