摘要: The per capita consumption of beef in Nigeria is reducing amidst a rising population that dependent on as major source animal protein. In this paper, system dynamics (SD) model was developed with the aim testing exploratory policies aimed at reversing trend. simulations various policy tests showed that, all tested, having higher carcass yield seems to be most efficient solution, but its feasibility faces some steep biological and ecological challenges. However, combination cuts across land–cattle–market nexus necessary obtain level almost meets World Health Organization (WHO) standards for recommended protein intake. Complex inter-linked systems, like production consumption, require systemic approach considers dynamic feedback avoid fixes fail or shift burden when making decisions.
