摘要: AIM: To define the frequency of C/T-13910 variant associated with lactase persistence/non-persistence trait and to analyze milk consumption non-persistent subjects in Estonia. METHODS: We genotyped 355 Estonians by polymerase chain reaction direct sequencing. Milk was analyzed a questionnaire, specially developed abdominal complaints. RESULTS: The genotype C/C-13910 (lactase non-persistence) found be 24.8% native Estonians. No other single nucleotide polymorphisms covering region 400 bp adjacent were found. Lactase non-persistence consume less than persistence subjects. CONCLUSION: defined confirms results previous studies based on indirect methods determining hypolactasia. is consistent previously reported figures adult-type hypolactasia Estonia. However, does not prevent intake many adults.
