摘要: To understand species distribution, trends of antimicrobial susceptibility and prevalence methicillin resistance in canine staphylococci Japan, 190 coagulase-positive (CoPS) were isolated from dogs with pyoderma 2 Japanese veterinary referral hospitals. Using a multiplex polymerase chain reaction (M-PCR) method, two CoPS identified: 170 Staphylococcus pseudintermedius (89.5%) 20 S. schleiferi subsp. coagulans isolates (10.5%). In these isolates, to 7 agents was determined. Overall, the levels cefalexin (CEX), amoxicillin/clavulanic acid (CVA/AMPC), minocycline (MINO), ofloxacin (OFLX), norfloxacin (NFLX), lincomycin (LCM) clindamycin (CLDM) 38.2, 52.4, 34.7, 31.2, 34.1, 1.2 11.2%, respectively. 55% demonstrated CEX, 80% CVA/AMPC, 70% MINO, 45% OFLX or NFLX 30% CLDM. None susceptible LCM. determine methicillin-resistant strains, we used PCR which enabled detection fragment mecA gene 66.5% (113 170) 30.0% (6 20) isolates. The frequencies OFLX, CLDM significantly lower than methicillin-susceptible These data suggest high level Japan.
