摘要: The effects of toxic ammonia doses on H 2 O metabolism, energy and antioxidant enzyme activities in rat heart were studied. Ammonium acetate administration to animals proved increase total superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase, glutathione peroxidase the cytoplasmic frac- tion as well Mn-SOD, reductase mitochondria. Conversely, inhib- ited same brain, liver, erythrocytes. Hyperammonemia had no effect levels ATP, ADP adenine nucleotides but decreased them brain. Ammonia impaired oxi- dative phosphorylation increased rate production brain ammo- nia concentration inhibiting enzymes liver can be insufficient for such heart.
