摘要: In this paper, a broadband tunable long period grating (LPG) with an ultra-thin cladding layer using liquid crystal is presented. By chemical etching the to very thin diameter (approximately 30micrometers ), becomes extremely sensitive surrounding refractive index change so that wide range filter realized. material (18523) has no less than of cladding, resonant band LPG tuned by controlling temperature crystal. We obtained tuning 87nm only approximately 22 degrees. It believed largest temperature-dependent effect ever reported.
