摘要: Since clinical training often fails to equip medical students with essential history-taking skills, more effective teaching methods required be developed. As previous work had suggested that which included televised demonstrations of and practice simulated patients might superior traditional methods, it was decided evaluate this experimentally. Thirty beginning the Oxford Clinical Course were randomly selected allocated a or one two experimental courses. Both courses used television simulation but differed in way presented. After completing these courses, each student asked take history from patient. Rating videotapes interviews showed groups obtained much information many skills than assigned course. The also rated favourably by simulators recorded data their case histories. It is concluded short practical, very effective, could augmented self-teaching programme skills.
