摘要: The valency of vanadium, and thus indirectly the oxygen stoichiometry, V-doped hafnia synthesized under different atmospheres have been investigated on a nanometer scale by means electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS). EELS V L2,3 spectra are compared with results crystal field multiplet calculations experiments reference vanadium oxides. indicate that prepared reducing (H2) neutral (Ar) atmosphere unambiguously substituted trivalent atoms leading to creation vacancies in structure. On contrary, stoichiometric (Hf, V)O2 compound (i.e. V4+) is more likely be stabilized oxidative (air) atmospheres. We also show amount hybridization alters for compounds studied but may part analyzed high spatially resolved EELS. particularly simple reduction Slater integrals gives good account spectral modification induced case tetravalent atoms.
