摘要: Abstract This paper describes a simple and effective process for fabricating porous metakaolin-based inorganic polymer spheres. The making geopolymer spheres (PGS) by suspension solidification method was experimentally established, the following conditions yielded optimal compositions: n(SiO2)/n(Na2O) = 1.6 in sodium silicate solution, n(Na2O)/n(Al2O3) = 1, n(H2O)/n(Na2O) = 16, dodecyl sulfate (K12) foaming agent = 1.5 mass%. procedure based on rapid mechanism of paste high-temperature suspension. Pore structure analysis revealed that pore size distribution centered mainly at 15 nm, which indicated presence large BET surface area (53.95 m2/g) mostly mesoporous nature. bulk density 0.79 g/cm3, their total porosity 60.30%; these results availability numerous active sites binding with Cu2 +, Pb2 +, Ca2 + other ions. showed are low-cost, convenient, environment-friendly adsorbent removing metal
