摘要: Wireless mesh networks are the next step in evolution of wireless architecture, delivering services for a large variety applications personal, local, campus, and metropolitan areas. Unlike WLANs, self-configuring systems where each Access Point (AP) can relay messages on behalf others, thus increasing range available bandwidth. Key advantages include ease installation, no cable cost, automatic connection among nodes, network flexibility, discovery newly added redundancy, self-healing reliability. At UCLA Network Research Lab, we created testbed Mesh Networks using Connectivity Layer, part Microsoft Toolkit 2005. In this paper focus indoor scenarios, such as home environments offices. As demand rich-media, streaming video content continues to increase, kind certainly represents main player considered scenarios. Using our testbed, delineate limits multimedia with today’s WMN technology.
