摘要: Abstract TiC-steel composite clad layers containing about 50 vol.% TiC of 3 or 30 μm size were produced on the tool steel 90MnCrV8 using a 3.5 kW CO2 laser. After laser cladding, hardness and volume fraction retained austenite martensitic matrix varied by heat treatments. Wear tests carried out different composites laboratory tribometer in dry reciprocating sliding contact against SiC abrasive paper grit sizes. The results show that wear resistance was markedly influenced reinforcing particles, hardness, size. Incorporation particles enhanced factor up to 6 compared with unreinforced after equal treatment. In present study grits harder than but slightly lower phase. Such tribosystems ratio average width individual grooves mean free path between be very important respect resistance. Theoretical models for are experimental results.
