摘要: CancerMath is a set of web-based prognostic tools which predict nodal status and survival up to 15 years after diagnosis breast cancer. This study validated its performance in Southeast Asian setting. Using Singapore Malaysia Hospital-Based Breast Cancer Registry, clinical information was retrieved from 7064 stage I III cancer patients who were diagnosed between 1990 2011 underwent surgery. Predicted observed probabilities positive nodes compared for each subgroup. Calibration assessed by plotting value against predicted decile the value. Discrimination evaluated area under receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) with 95 % confidence interval (CI). The median probability lymph 40.6 % lower than 43.6 % (95 % CI, 42.5 %–44.8 %). calibration plot showed underestimation most groups. AUC 0.71 0.70–0.72). Cancermath overall 87.3 % vs 83.4 % at 5 years 75.3 % 70.4 % 10 years diagnosis. difference smaller Singapore, more recently favorable tumor characteristics. also illustrated overprediction poor prognosis. 5-year 10-year 0.77 CI: 0.75–0.79) 0.74 0.71–0.76). discrimination modest. results suggest that application should be limited better profile.
