摘要: Aspects of mental health nursing and its subspecialties are not easily defined. Child adolescent (CAMH) is a subspecialty nursing, some characteristics tacit. This paper presents deeper understanding the meaning that CAMH nurses make their role work in inpatient setting. The research was undertaken through PhD candidature. epistemological framework for social constructionism. Interpretive enquiry methodology, as it allowed interpretation multiple realities, which resulted rich description nurses. Methods data collection were document analysis, focus group interviews, individual interviews. Participants included multidisciplinary staff. Iterative aggregative analyses utilized documents. interview analysed utilizing thematic analysis process. findings combined resultant holistic conceptual nurse unit. have contributed new knowledge to specifically making parameters practice more explicit. Implications practice, education, identified.
