摘要: In April 2009, a novel H1N1 influenza A virus (pH1N1) was recognized as the cause of flu pandemic in humans. Here, we report isolation pH1N1 from lung homogenates two cats, which died after severe respiratory symptoms. The cats belonged to cat colony consisting 90 caged and were found dead following 2-week period gastrointestinal diseases colony. During outbreak, 25 50% animal showed anorexia, depression, Histological examination lungs tested displayed lesions centred on terminal airways with epithelial bronchiolar hyperplasia alveolar necrosis. Influenza detected tissues by immunohistochemistry real-time RT-PCR (rRT-PCR). Partial sequences haemagglutinin (HA) genes complete neuraminidase (NA) isolates high similarity viruses circulating humans (99% for HA gene 100% NA gene). To determine whether had circulated among serum samples pharyngeal swabs collected 38 Serum ELISA detect antibodies against nucleoprotein hemagglutination-inhibition test, while examined specific rRT-PCR. Twenty-one (55%) carried isolated strain positive presence RNA. Our results confirm that able infect raise hypothesis circulation within being due cat-to-cat transmission. case reported here provides, best authors' knowledge, first description infection involving numerous lived restricted area limited contact
