摘要: Primary brain tumors are increasing in incidence the United States and devastating to patients families. Because their treatment primarily affect brain, psychiatric psychosocial impact is rather unique. As opposed systemic effects of other treatment, have a direct on functioning therefore cognition, mood, personality. In fact, undergo dramatic changes mood showing specific impairments functioning. These get translated into disabilities when patient's daily impaired may become handicap viewed context quality life (QOL). This article describes observed neuropsychiatric syndromes, including apathy syndrome, neurocognitive affects treatment.
