摘要: Here we report the successful implementation of Plackett-Burman multifactorial design to screen limiting components for growth and subsequent use response surface methodology (RSM) a medium that supported exponential aggregated morphology shipworm bacterium, Teredinobacter turnirae. The results obtained with help indicated limitations three in medium, MnCl2.4H2O, Na2CO3, K2HPO4. concentrations these were further optimized using RSM. By increasing above-mentioned by 4-fold, 12-fold, respectively, it became possible achieve culture. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
