摘要: Abstract Process combinations of filament winding with online-impregnation fibre bundles have previously been widely neglected, due to the technical difficulties impregnating a large number slender filaments highly viscous thermoplastic melt. An innovative impregnation technology, called wheel, has developed which allows produce high quality impregnated tapes or tows at considerable speeds. Due specific characteristics technology it offers itself be adopted for process combination winding. The realised is described in detail. To assess operating profitability novel processing routine simple cost comparison calculation utilising preimpregnated was conducted. Even though early stage development values could only roughly estimated, required minimum speed economic production glass reinforced model component deducted.
