摘要: Little is known on the relationship between herpes zoster and Parkinson's disease in older people. This study aimed to explore whether could be associated with people Taiwan. We conducted a retrospective cohort using claim data of Taiwan National Health Insurance Program. There were 10,296 subjects aged 65 years newly diagnosed as group 39,405 randomly selected without diagnosis nonherpes from 1998 2010. Both groups followed up until received disease. follow-up design would at an increased risk Relative risks estimated by adjusted hazard ratio (HR) 95% confidence interval (CI) multivariable Cox proportional hazards regression model. The incidence was higher than that (4.86 vs 4.00 per 1000 person-years, CI 1.14, 1.29). After adjustment for confounding factors, model revealed HR 1.17 (95% 1.10, 1.25), compared group.Older confer slightly developing when those zoster. We think correlates When seek help, clinicians should pay more attention development cardinal symptoms
