摘要: Summary The goal of this study was to investigate the association between gout and Parkinson's disease in older people Taiwan. Utilizing Taiwan National Health Insurance database, case–control included 3854 patients aged 65 years or with newly diagnosed as case group [mean age 75.0 standard deviation (SD) 5.0 years], 15,416 without control (mean 74.0 SD 5.3 years). Multivariable logistic regression analysis detected no both sex [odds ratio (OR) = 0.98, 95% confidence interval (CI) = 0.86–1.12, men OR = 1.03, CI = 0.88–1.21, women, respectively].
