摘要: Despite a well-known topic no many practical applications are on the market coupling flywheels and synchronous reluctance machine. The paper outlines design of Synchronous Reluctance Machine for Flywheel Based Energy Storage System (FBESS) addressed design-to-cost application. A preliminary has been sized evaluating mechanical electromagnetic performance thanks to FEM analysis. An accurate review results done in order identify most critical variables their impact machine performance. This analysis aimed provide an elaborated input optimization process. pointed out improve efficiency result verified through characterizing its overall working range.
