摘要: AIMS To elicit the views of children's nurses with regard to personal, contextual and interprofessional challenges faced when delivering palliative end life care children young people in community. METHODS Semi-structured interviews were conducted seven who provided one or more child person home. Data generated analysed thematically define topics. FINDINGS Four themes emerged: service delivery, nurse-family relationships, nurses' grief, funeral rites bereavement support. CONCLUSIONS Nurses experienced considerable internal external pressures. Some are inevitable but others, such as organisation provision families personal coping, could be improved by adequately resourced workforces, integrated structures guidance on reflective practice. Further research is needed.
