摘要: PURPOSE The present study investigated the clinical significance of transmembrane protease, serine 4(TMPRSS4) and extracellular signal-regulated kinases 1 (Erk1) in development, progression metastasis gastric cancer. METHODS Immunohistochemistry was employed to analyze TMPRSS4 Erk1 expression 436 cancer cases 92 non-cancerous human tissues. RESULTS Protein levels were up-regulated lesions compared with adjacent noncancerous High correlated age, size, Lauren's classification, depth invasion, lymph node distant metastases, regional stage TNM stage, also Erk1. In stages I, II III, 5-year survival rate patients high significantly lower than low expression. Further multivariate analysis suggests that up-regulation independent prognostic indicators for disease, along stage. CONCLUSIONS Expression is associated metastasis, expression, poor prognosis. proteins could be useful markers predict tumor prognosis
