摘要: Injuries observed on endangered Hawaiian monk seals (Monachus schauinslandi) at Laysan Island and French Frigate Shoals in the northwestern Islands 1988 1989 were classified into six major types, based source of wounds: mating attempts by adult male seals; nonmating aggressive interactions with other attacks large sharks; cookiecutter sharks (Isistius brasiliensis); contact coral reef or debris; entanglement netting marine debris.
