摘要: Chickens were bursectomized surgically during the first week after hatching and immunized subsequently with human serum albumin (HSA). Bursectomy (Bx) 4 days posthatching suppressed IgG response, but did not affect IgM response when tested at 2 weeks. The overall responsiveness had declined by weeks, however, probably due to nonreplicating character of early peripherally seeded B cells. Furthermore, these chickens failed give a memory response. cells self-replicating potential are later than posthatching. However, 7 day Bx still produced selective suppression primary while although delayed, reached normal peak titer. Treatment in vitro anti-μ interfered adoptive transfer both responses. data interpreted terms sequential seeding precursors anti-HSA clones, which maintain membrane-bound μ-chain antigen.
