摘要: Submicrosized chevrel Mo6S8 powder is synthesized using mechanical milling of the starting materials and yield increased by modified synthesis method. The effect particle size investigated various electrochemical techniques. submicrosized shows enhanced discharge capacity compared with that microsized chevrel, voltage profile indicates low arising from Mg trapping at Mg-1 site improved for chevrel. also verified ex situ X-ray diffraction measurement results are in good agreement profile. Open-circuit measurements AC-impedance spectroscopy used to identify kinetics Mg2+ insertion. properties obtained attributed smaller particles provide shorter diffusion lengths ions.
