摘要: This paper documents the clinical course of posterior cruciate ligament-deficient knee. By obtaining an understanding natural history this lesion, indications for surgical repair, reconstruction, and conservative treatment will be more clearly defined, clinician able to critically evaluate results both acute repair reconstruction ligament. Forty-three patients with average interval 6.3 years (range, one 37 years) between injury evaluation were included in study. Fourteen had a straight unidirectional instability 29 combined multidirectional instability. The follow-up functional assessment, physical roentgenographic evaluation, arthrometric laxity measurement, isokinetic dynametric testing quadriceps function. Statistical data, utilizing nonparametric methods logistic modeling, delineated ligament (PCL). It was established that outcome can predicted on basis type. Specifically, those knees PCL disruption without associated ligamentous probably remain symptom-free. However, when is instabilities, less than desirable result occur. Application modeling data demonstrated not due type per se, but rather factors, i.e., chondromalacia patella, meniscal derangement, atrophy, or degenerative changes. A direct correlation has been occurrence secondary problems resulting patient's complaints disability.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
