摘要: We report here the specific interaction between several members of human galectin family with three developmental stages genetic lineages protozoan parasite Trypanosoma cruzi. provide data and differential binding (gal)-1, -3, -4, -7 -8 to 14 strains T. cruzi that belong six representing diversity parasite. It is shown galectins preferentially bind forms present in host, trypomastigotes amastigotes, compared non-infective epimastigote on intestinal tract vector, reflecting changes glycosylation occur during metacyclogenesis amastigogenesis process. Also, it evidenced parasites promotes host cells higher infection rates. In addition, evidence provided indicating intracellular amastigotes may take over cytosolic pool some when released extracellular medium. Finally, by applying unweighted pair group method analysis galectin-binding profile either cell-derived or we show differential-binding resembles clustering based data. Therefore, for could have implications immunopathology Chagas' disease, affecting complex network immune responses which mediate, thus providing linkage clues notion different be related clinical disease.
