摘要: Abstract A novel spectrophotometric nitrite ( NO − 2 ) nitrate (NO 3 assay system for a small quantity (5 μl) of dialysate sample obtained by in vivo brain microdialysis was developed based on the diazotization reaction. The has advantages consecutive measurement, high precision, good reproducibility, technical simplicity, relatively short resolution time (2.5–20 min), and wide availability. NO−3 level rat striatum found to be times higher than NO−2 level. nitric oxide (NO) synthase inhibitor, N G -nitro- l -arginine methyl ester, reduced striatal citrulline formation dose-related manner increased arginine, indicating that tissue detected this adequately reflects activity.
