摘要: Over the past decades, steel production has increased and, consequently, higher volumes of by-products and residues generated have driven to reuse these materials in an increasingly efficient way. In recent years new technologies been expanded, some them are still under developing, order improve recovery rates slags. On this subject material separation carbon sequestration could dramatically reduce CO2 emissions from steelmaking processes. other hand, increase slags use different fields application, such as agriculture, allowed landfill preserve natural resources. addition environmental achievements, practices produced economic benefits, by providing sustainable solutions that can allow industry achieve its ambitious target “zero-waste” incoming (worldsteel, 2008).
