摘要: The present study investigated AIDS knowledge among 175 newly entering college freshmen students. On self-ratings, subjects believed they possessed moderate to high levels of knowledge, and reported obtaining the majority their information about from media. a 40-item instrument which measures general specific transmission prevention, averaged over 90% correct responses. However, important gaps were identified at item level. Approximately 12-20% did not understand high-risk nature certain sexual behavior such as anal intercourse erroneously viewed all homosexual activity even donating blood behavior.
