摘要: Actin-based cell motility is essential to many biological processes. We built a simplified, three-dimensional computational model and subsequently performed stochastic simulations study the growth dynamics of lamellipodia-like branched networks. In this work, we shed light on antagonism between capping anti-capping proteins in regulating actin filamentous network. discuss detailed mechanisms by which affect protrusion speed network rate nucleation filaments. computed phase diagram showing regimes enhancement inhibition these proteins. Our work shows that effects are mainly transmitted modulation density local availability monomeric actin. discovered combination capping/anti-capping regulatory with nucleation-promoting introduces robustness redundancy machinery, allowing easily achieve maximal speeds under broader set conditions. Finally, distributions filament lengths various conditions speculate their potential implication for emergence filopodia from lamellipodial
