摘要: Imaeda, Tamotsu (Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Cientificas, Caracas, Venezuela) and Jacinto Convit. Electron microscope study of Mycobacterium leprae its environment in a vesicular leprous lesion. J. Bacteriol. 83:43–52. 1962.—Biopsied specimens borderline leprosy lesion were observed with the electron microscope. In this lesion, majority laden cytoplasmic components. The bacilli separated from cytoplasm host cells by an enclosing membrane, thus differing well-developed lepra lepromatous lesions. cell wall is composed moderately dense layer. A diffuse layer discernible outside wall, it low density space. It suggested that further coated layer, although nature outermost has not yet been determined. plasma membrane consists double i.e., inner outer layers closely adjacent to wall. region where enters transformed into complex membranous structure, encloses configuration. Together they form intracytoplasmic system. bacterial cytoplasm, dense, presumably polyphosphate bodies are apparent. As neither these nor system visible degenerating bacilli, seems probable two components represent indicators state bacillary activity. Images
