摘要: Regenerative sustainability is emerging as an alternative discourse around the transition from a ‘mechanistic’ to ‘ecological’ or living systems worldview. This view helps us re-conceptualize relationships among humans' technological, ecological, economic, social and political systems. Through exploration of ‘net positive’ ‘regenerative’ development lenses traditional literature, conceptualization approaches achieve sustainable ecological modernization are expanded articulate explore evolving discourse, ‘regenerative sustainability’. This Special Volume Journal Cleaner Production (SV) focused upon various dimensions regenerative (e.g. design, development, positive development) applied urban built environment at scales, which range individual buildings, neighbourhoods, developments integrated regional development. The main focus on how these evolving, they can help prevent adapt climate change likely evolve in next two three decades. These addressed four themes: (1) reviewing theoretical sustainability, its principles practices, (2) explaining it be measured monitored, (3) providing encouraging practical pathways examples implementation multiple cultural climatic contexts, (4) mapping obstacles enablers that must ensure more rapid progress made implementing transitions towards supports genuinely societies.
