摘要: ABSTRACT Introduction Erectile dysfunction and ischemic heart disease are common health problems that affect elderly individuals. Despite advances in treatment strategies, cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) has been used for coronary artery grafting (CABG) over three decades surgical myocardial revascularization. Aim To discuss the difference between on pump newer alternative—the off-pump CABG (OPCABG) surgery—on sexual function. Methods This prospective study included 100 patients who underwent CABG. Main Outcome Measures The were evaluated by an abridged form of International Index Function questionnaire (IIEF-5), Pharmaco-Penile Duplex Ultrasound finally European System Cardiac Operative Risk Evaluation. either on-pump or OPCABG. Six months after surgery, erectile function was revaluated according to same preoperative measures. Results Patients classified into two matched groups: group I—patients (N = 50); II—patients OPCABG 50). frequency intercourse significantly higher ( P Conclusions a diminished impact compared with conventional Therefore, type operation can be considered predictive factor following CAB surgery.
