摘要: HNK-1 carbohydrate epitope is localized on the surface of avian neural crest cells (NCCs), and necessary for their migration. However, it still disputed whether works in similar ways mammalian embryos. In this study, we found that was specifically detected some cranial ganglia, migrating trunk NCCs non-NCC derivatives rat embryo. Two genes encoding glucuronyltransferases synthesize vitro (GlcAT-P GlcAT-D) were recently identified rat. Interestingly, ganglia expressed GlcAT-D gene, whereas GlcAT-P gene. To investigate vivo functions GlcATs NCC migration further, overexpressed GlcAT by electroporation cultured Transfection both resulted efficient synthesis NCCs. overexpression increased distance migration, did not show effect. Our data suggest synthesized different involved sublineages embryo, mediate effects
