摘要: Ninety-nine wheat cultivars from six different agro-climatic zones of India were analyzed for the Vrn-1, Vrn-2, Vrn-B3, Vrn-4 and Ppd-D1 composition with DNA sequenced based allele specific or linked markers above-mentioned genes. A majority germplasm carried dominant Vrn-A1a alone in combination Vrn-B1 Vrn-D1. The three genes cumulatively present 30 among all zones, whereas double combination, Vrn- A1/Vrn-B1 was identified 18 cultivars, Vrn-A1/Vrn-D1 6 cvs Vrn-B1/Vrn-D1 16 cvs. alleles most frequent Northern Western Plains Zone. Hill Zone had vrn-B1 vrn-D1 higher proportions compared to Vrn-D1 indicating successful spring/winter cross breeding. All recessive Vrn-B3 allele. Most photoperiod insensitive only 9% possessed sensitive (b) gene. This information will be useful selecting parental lines crossing maximize diversity at these loci future molecular marker assisted breeding cultivar improvement.
