摘要: — Emission and absorption spectra of neutral, monocation dication dibucaine were recorded in hydrocarbon hydroxylic solvents. The spectral analysis indicates that the lowest electronic states originate from quinoline analogue molecule. fluorescence phosphorescence emission neutral all solvents at 77 K are best assigned as resulting 1n,π* 3π,π*, respectively, whereas those both dibucaines found to have 1π,π* 3π,π*. ethanol solutions shown give identical properties, indicating dibucaine-HCl is H+ dissociative; this was confirmed by FT-IR studies. possible explanations for deprotonation environments discussed.
