摘要: CsrA is a regulator of invasion genes in Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium. To investigate the wider role gene regulation, we compared expression csrA mutant with those wild type using DNA microarray. As expected, found that pathogenicity island 1 (SPI-1) was greatly reduced mutant, as were outside encode proteins translocated into eukaryotic cells by SPI-1 III secretion apparatus. The flagellar synthesis operons, flg and fli, also poorly expressed, aflagellate non-motile. two metabolic pathways likely to be used intestinal milieu showed expression: pdu operon for utilization 1,2-propanediol eut ethanolamine catabolism. Reduced reporter fusions these operons confirmed microarray data. Moreover, regulate co-ordinately cob vitamin B12, required metabolism either or ethanolamine. Additionally, expressed mal operon, transport use maltose maltodextrins, had amounts maltoporin, normally dominant protein outer membrane. These results show controls number classes addition invasion, some them unique Salmonella, suggests co-ordinated bacterial response conditions exist at site tract host animal.
