摘要: Abstract Six growth assays were conducted using crystalline amino acid diets to investigate the efficacy of methionine hydroxy analogue (OH-M) as a precursor sulfur bearing acids (SAA). The influence on OH-M utilization dietary modifications methionine-cystine ratio, inorganic sulfate K2SO4 and supplemental mixtures branched-chain (leucine, isoleucine valine) was explored. Performance chicks fed inferior those an equivalent molar quantity dl -methionine. Additional or did not improve utilization. found support equal that 0.35% cystine when at level 25% above SAA provided by cystine. On weight basis calcium salt has 88.15% activity. From reported herein calculated have approximately 70%
