摘要: Meta-analysis based on a random-effects model is used to summarise and overcome the variability between divergent parameter estimates. We proposed meta-analysis of published heritability genetic-correlation estimates for reproduction, growth carcass traits in purebred Nellore cattle. In total, 197 107 from 62 scientific publications were here. Most (gestation length; weights at birth, 120, 210, 365 550 days age; mature weight all traits) presented direct ranging 0.20 0.40. Age first calving lowest value among heritabilities (0.1498); whereas higher values (>0.40) found scrotal circumference different ages 450 age. Low maternal (ranging 0.06 0.11) observed traits. With exception correlation involving age calving, other correlations positive. High (>0.85) mainly same trait ages. The results reported here will give support genetic evaluations when reliable cattle are not available.
