摘要: In an attempt to determine when scrotal circumference (SC) could be a reasonable indicator of female reproductive performance, series two-trait random regression model (regression for SC on age at measurement) using Gibbs sampling was applied field data Nelore cattle raised in tropical environment. The traits evaluated were first calving (AFC), interval (FCI), heifer pregnancy (HP), and stayability (STAY). posterior means heritability ranged from 0.15 AFC 0.46 HP about 0.50 SC. genetic correlations between AFC, FCI, HP, STAY up -0.70, -0.25, 0.48, 0.29, respectively.
