摘要: Abstract Using the closed-can technique, radon exhalation rate measurements have been carried out for shale and coal samples collected from various mines located in Chakwal Makarwal areas of Pakistan. For two areas, measured average values rates are 1.45±0.13 0.67±0.25 Bq m −2 h −1 1.0±0.03 0.65±0.32 Bq m , respectively. These much lower than alum-shale-based Nordic concrete which has 50–200 Bq m range. The deposits indicative their uranium contents mine workers these do not face any abnormal health hazard due to since found be on low side.
