摘要: Recent developments in optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating allow the deter- mination of signals increasingly smaller sample amounts. This has led to microdosimetry having a larger impact on equivalent dose (DE) distributions and therefore, detection assessment spatial distribution radionuclides become more important. study demonstrates application autoradiography using imaging plates determine spatially resolved radiation inhomogeneities different types samples. Qualitative evaluations inhomogeneity are carried out un- consolidated sediments as well hard rock While indicating some limitations appli- cability, results demonstrate that method is an efficient tool detect document variations sample's field. It therefore provides possibility rapidly screen samples check whether might affect DE data. Furthermore, approach calibrate autoradiographic images for quantitative use suggested. Us- ing pressed powder pellets reference materials, series calibration were exposed, from which functional relation between specific activity greyscale value autoradio- graphic image been deduced. Testing set 16 geological samples, their radionuclide content known, shows good correlation activities calculated nuclide deduced images. These findings illustrate potential with tackle certain aspects problem modern trapped charge dating.
