Giant cavernoma of the orbit: clinical and surgical considerations.

摘要: Cavernous hemangiomas of the orbit are benign, hamartomatous, vascular lesions, more frequent in middle-aged women, representing most common benign primitive neoplasm orbit. Several therapeutic modalities and surgical approaches have been described, order to preserve normal orbital structures. We describe case a patient with volumous cavernoma, approached by fronto-orbito-zigotomy. A review on diagnostic is also presented.
