摘要: ErbB2 and ErbB3 receptors belong to the epidermal growth factor receptor family. The members of this family are able form homo- heterodimers that trigger diverse downstream signalling concerned multiple cellular events. In absence a ligand, adopts characteristic tethered conformation, which differs from extended conformation. work, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) dynamic light scattering (DLS) have been used characterize conformational features size ErBb2 receptors. Two main objectives presented. first one is evaluate use TEM as tool for structural studies low molecular weight these proteins represents challenging purpose studies. other search relationship between results obtained by those hydrodynamic measured DLS. This comparison has allowed us identify differences anticipate experimental techniques study ligand activated heterodimerization, process related significant number human malignancies.
