摘要: Abstract A novel core–shell structured AuPt@Pd/C catalyst for the electrooxidation of formic acid is synthesized by a pulse electrodeposition process, and AuPt core nanoparticles are obtained NaBH 4 reduction method. The characterized with X-ray powder diffraction transmission electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, cyclic voltammetry, CO stripping photoelectron spectroscopy. structure revealed increase in particle size resulting from Pd layer covering core, negative shift peaks. addition small amount Pt improves dispersion Au results smaller particles. catalyst's activity evaluated voltammetry solution. shows excellent towards anodic oxidation acid, mass reaches 4.4 A mg −1 0.83 A mg metal , which 8.5 1.6 times that commercial Pd/C. This enhanced electrocatalytic could be ascribed to good particles Pt, as well interaction between shell nanoparticles.
